Building a slipwagen from scratch

Ungelesener Beitrag von petzi »

Hallo, I am Stefano, the the lucky owner of a dehler varianta K3 "Stormy Papaerina" on the Elba Island, in the mediterranean see. She is the perfect summer day sailer but I couldn't get a trailer with slipwagen when i bought it and would like to have a new slipwagen rebuilt directly here. Shipping a orioginal one from Germany is too expensive for an old slipwagen. Does anybody have technical plans of the original slipwagen to share? Or, maybe, would be willing to measure the original slipwagen and share the specs? How thick should be the axis?

Many sailing schools and charter companies on the island are german-run and it would be nice to see some varianta sailors come here and show You the best spots of the tuscan islands! Beware of the Piombino channel, it is full of ferries. It is also forbidden for small boats to use ELba to cross to Capraia or Corsica or Sardinia.

Thank You all!!
